5 new colors!

The drive to the office today was extra long and full of rain :(
Anyways, I know it's been so long since I've posted, so let me give some updates!

- The We Love Colors fashion music party went well! One of the models could not show up so I filled in. Due to my height of 5'10 I was the perfect candidate, and the only intern willing to sacrifice herself to walk down the runway. The night was great, we even had Craig B on the turntables blasting out some great sounds!

- We Love Colors was featured in "The Plastiscines" New music Video - BARCELONA the music video!

- We Love Colors will be coming out with 5 new colors so I will keep you posted on when they will be revealed! get excited

- The new Trends Blog we are creating is still in construction with a lot of kinks to work out, but hopefully it will be ready within the next month. Our whole direction is to show different ideas on how to where colored,patterned or even plain tights.

YAY, so we have been super busy here putting together our first WLC event for 2009! Everything is set and the party is this Tuesday the 24th. We even got SkullKandy to sponsor with a donation of free colored headphones! The party starts at 11 with a fashion show following at 1:00 AM. Yes it sounds late but HEY its Miami and here that is when the parties start! Were going to have models walking down the sushi bar at Sushi Samba, wearing funky colored tights. Of course we will be taking pictures and I'll post them as soon as possible. Leilanie and I will be dancing around in our tutus and some neon tights.

It's the weekend and on the bright side of things, We Love Colors Tights are featured in Life & Style Magazine in a two page spread. Flipping to this page in the mag, It becomes evident that you cannot take your eyes off our brightly colored crochet fish-net tights.

So Leilanie and I have been putting our creative minds together to come up with a way to help people show off the funky crazy tights they get from We Love Colors ... And well we have decided to design a Trends Blog- If you have ever seen Lookbook.nu its in a sense that idea but with tights. We want to display ways that people can pull of eccentric tights, such as the Neon Pink tights, with the right outfit! Its under construction currently but by early next week, we hope to have our first post! The pictures will be in great quality and full of ideas for everyone. I'm going to refrain from posting the link until a week from now.

Kids can be creative too....


TheReThink ReUseCenter is a nonprofit organization and a reusable resource center with educational purposes to optimize a child’s learning potential through exploratory play. The “Play is Learning” workshop provides the opportunity to use materials with no pre-set purpose and experience creative skills developed in childhood to early childhood educators.

Materials for the ReThink and ReUse Center come from local businesses/manufacturers who generate an abundance of solid waste products: overruns, discontinued items, rejects, obsolete parts, packaging waste. --This is where We Love Colors stepped in! By donating some damaged items, we contributed to the efforts of promoting community-wide ecological responsibility and meaningful learning experiences for young children using environmentally friendly and innovative solutions!

We are always trying to come up with ways to recycle ripped or damaged tights, so we can be earth friendly.

Again the weather is amazing! We just finished the new Plus Sized Footless Tight Shoot, along with the new line of footless tights for men! I have some photos we took during the shoot. The lovely Tanya was our model for the day and did a superb job. New Men Footless

Hey guyS!

So it's winter in Miami Florida and the weather is finally reaching the low 70's, what an amazing chill! The sky is overcast and I am enjoying a nice day back in the office with the cool winds blowing in the front door. I'm excited for what the new year of 2009 has to bring. Everything so far is splendid. My school hours are nicely placed throughout the week giving me enough time to spend in the WLC office!

On The CW's hit television show Gossip Girl, tights from WeLoveColors made a fashion debut in the episode titled, "There Might Be Blood," for a glam funk fashion show put on by the character Jenny. Walking down the runway, models were showing off the We Love Colors Splash Colored Tights! Splash Tights!

Hi there,
A little birdy told us you were talking about us... so here is an update. Yes, I sent out samples to 4 women and I have heard back from one. But I totally understand that everyone has their own lives and stuff to do, we asked you for a big favor. I am sending out a second batch this week. Please keep in mind that product development is a huge process and we are trying to do it right the first time.... well the second time. This process may take well over 6 months to complete from testing to manufacturing to programming it into our website. So I apologize if you guys felt like I wasn't communicating enough, I'll try to post an update at least every two weeks. Quick question how do you guys feel about the Avenue opaque tights... in terms of fit???
